U.S. citizens and permanent residents are exempt from this requirement.
Can I waive the English language test requirement?
There are two ways that international students whose first language is not English can waive this requirement:

To be eligible for the waiver, applicants must have completed their full degree at an English-language university before starting their program at the Carroll School of Management. The language of instruction must be noted on their transcript or verified in a letter on official letterhead from their university. - You can also waive the requirement if you have two or more years of full-time work experience in the United States, or are currently employed in the U.S.
Important note: You can waive the requirement yourself in the application. You do not need to separately request a waiver!
